Color Palette & Aesthetic
White, neutrals, greenery, pops of blush.
Romantic and chic, with unexpected twists.
Favorite Décor Elements
The hanging greenery and glass globe installs in the clear top reception tent, and the sweeping arc of roses and greenery over the iconic front door of the Admiral’s House.
Favorite Moment
Watching the tent and floor plan schematics come together in real life (in a matter of hours!), transforming the lawn into a beautiful reception space.

The Admiral’s House is known as one of Seattle’s most iconic wedding venues for good reason. The manicured space is so versatile for any wedding design, and have you seen the panoramic views of the Seattle skyline!? After coordinating J&J’s elegant celebration at this beautiful venue, I had been waiting for another opportunity to create some more magic, and was so thrilled when Alice & David’s inquiry popped up in my inbox!
Over the course of a year, we worked through logistics, got creative with design elements to curate a unique experience, and shared many meals together (it didn’t take long for us to discover our shared love of food). My full-service planning clients always end up feeling like best friends by the end of the planning process, and Alice and David were no exception! By the time their wedding day arrived, we had dreamed up and designed a chic, romantic aesthetic with unexpected twists - like a hanging tent install (adorned with leafy vines and vintage globes), and made-to-order gourmet pizza slices for dinner.
Every single detail you see in these photos was chosen carefully and intentionally by A&D, and their incredible team pulled it off perfectly! It took three (yes, THREE) separate rental companies to execute the tented reception space, and I’ll forever be in awe of how quickly the teams from CORT, Pedersen’s, and Vintage Ambiance pulled it all off. And the florals! Ah, the florals. Stephanie’s designs throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were to die for. So grateful to everyone who made it so that A&D and their guests had the time of their lives!
Forever honored to have had the opportunity to plan your wedding, A&D. Cheers to you!!
